Katie’s initial experience, as Audit Manager, involved working on both basic and
complex accounting assignments, thereafter, progressing into audit. More recently she has gained in-depth experience in UK and Irish Audit and Assurance
engagements, along with a special interest in ICAVs, SPVs and Solicitor Reporting
Engagements.

In her current role as Audit Compliance Manager, given her significant experience in IRFS, US GAAP and FRSs, she regularly advises our audit team on complex queries. She works closely with her audit colleagues and is recognised for combining deep technical expertise with clear, pragmatic advice that helps both our audit team and client organisations move forward with confidence. She has great input into our System of Quality Management development and maintenance (SoQM).

Katie excelled academically-initially achieving a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCC where she graduated with First Class Honours. Following a 3.5 years training programme she was admitted as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-ACA. She is now an accomplished Fellow member of the Institute-FCA and constantly engages with industry trends and professional education to ensure her audit colleagues receive the highest quality of support.
