Stephen Connolly is a qualified Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in Audit and Assurance services. Stephen is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Stephen’s role in ECOVIS is Associate Director (Audit).

Stephen specialises in audit and business advisory services for medium and large indigenous and foreign entities and groups, with operations in a variety of business sectors including Engineering, Construction, Information Technology, Transport & Logistics and Wind Technology.

In addition to his extensive Audit and Assurance experience, Stephen also undertakes the preparation of group consolidated financial statements, provision of Internal Audit services to State Bodies, including drafting reports to management identifying weaknesses in the company’s internal controls, making recommendations for their improvement and presenting findings to the Board of Directors, as well as the provision of Due Diligence reports on behalf of client companies.

Outside of work, Stephen is a long-time Leinster Rugby supporter and continues to strive to improve his golf handicap.
