Shane is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

He has over 12 years experience in practice dealing with small to medium sized businesses providing services such as accounts preparation, business advisory and taxation services as well as providing guidance with his extensive experience to our outsourced financial services team.

In addition to his experience in practice, Shane had experience working in a tech startup firm which providing outsourced bookkeeping services using bespoke accounting software heavily driven by automation and artificial intelligence (AI).

He has utilised the knowledge gained from this experience in his time with ECOVIS to date and introduced many cloud based and automated software packages to significantly increase efficiency in our outsourced bookkeeping department and reduce client’s daily administration.

Shane has a keen interest in sports and follows Limerick’s exploits in the hurling championship every year as well as being a big supporter of Liverpool FC.
